Privacy Policy
Last updated 30 July 2026. This policy explains what Future Modular Homes does with your personal information, and it is written to meet our obligations under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.
The short version. We collect your contact details and what you want built, so we can quote it. We do not sell your information to anybody. We do not send your details to a finance broker unless you ask us to. If you want a copy of what we hold, or you want it deleted, email us and we will do it.
Who we are
Future Modular Homes supplies modular homes, tiny homes, prefabricated homes, expandable homes, granny flats and bathroom pods in Australia, and we deliver and build worldwide. You can contact us about anything in this policy at futuremodularhomesau@gmail.com or by booking a call, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm AEST.
What we collect, and why
We only ask for what we need to give you a price. Everything below comes from you filling in one of our enquiry forms, apart from the last two rows, which are collected automatically.
| What we collect | Why we need it |
|---|---|
| Your name | So we know who we are talking to. |
| Email address and phone number | To send you a quote and answer your questions. |
| Suburb, state or postcode | Freight and site access change the price, so we cannot quote without knowing where the home is going. |
| What you are after, and anything you tell us in the message box | To work out which model and which options to quote. |
| Which model page you came from | Recorded automatically when you click Get a Quote from a listing, so your enquiry arrives already attached to the right home. |
| IP address and browser information | Collected automatically by our host and our spam filter. Used for security and to stop automated spam. |
We do not ask for, and you should never send us, your bank details, credit card numbers, tax file number, drivers licence or passport through the website.
Cookies and website measurement
We use Google Analytics to see which pages people read and which searches bring them here, and Google AdSense is enabled on the site. Both of these set cookies in your browser. This measurement is about pages and traffic, not about you personally, and it is not joined up with your enquiry.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site will still work. You can also install Google’s own opt out browser add on if you would rather Analytics did not count your visit.
Who else sees your information
We use outside services to run the website and to keep track of enquiries. Some of them are overseas, which under the Australian Privacy Principles we have to tell you about. The services currently used include:
| Who | Where they are | What they get, and why |
|---|---|---|
| HubSpot | United States | Your name and email address are copied into our customer records system when you submit an enquiry form, so we can keep track of the conversation. |
| Ausloans Finance Group | Australia | Only if you choose to apply for finance and follow the finance link yourself. We do not send your details to Ausloans unless you ask us to. |
| Automattic (Akismet) | United States | Form submissions are checked for spam. This check includes your IP address, name and email address. |
| Google and Meta | United States | Usage and advertising data collected through tags, AdSense and Meta pixels, subject to configured browser and consent settings. |
| WPMU DEV (Forminator) and Fillout | United States | Form and embed services used for enquiries; each provider processes data under its applicable workflow. |
| GoDaddy | United States and Australia | Our website host. Server logs include your IP address. |
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anybody, and we do not send it to our factories. When we place an order we tell the factory what to build and where to ship it, not who you are beyond what the freight company needs for delivery.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for two years from your last contact with us, so we can pick the conversation back up if you come back to it. If you buy from us, we keep the order and the paperwork for seven years, because tax and consumer law require it. After that we delete it.
How we look after it
The website runs over an encrypted connection, and access to enquiries is limited to the people who need to answer them. No website can promise perfect security, so if something goes wrong and your information is involved in a data breach that is likely to cause you serious harm, we will tell you and notify the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, as the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires.
Getting a copy, fixing it, or having it deleted
You can ask us at any time to:
- send you a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong or out of date
- delete your information, unless we are required to keep it for tax or legal reasons
- stop contacting you
Email futuremodularhomesau@gmail.com with what you want and we will action it within 30 days. We do not charge for this, and we will not ask you why.
If you are not happy with how we handled it
Tell us first and give us a chance to fix it. If you are still not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. They can be reached on 1300 363 992 or through their website at oaic.gov.au, and their service is free.
Children
This site is for people buying a home, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has sent us their details, email us and we will delete them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is a significant one we will say so on the home page rather than quietly editing this.
