About this model

What it is

The PL15 is a single toilet cabin built the way a small building is built, not the way a plastic booth is moulded. Buyers use it as a park or reserve amenity, a toilet for a rural block or shed, a caravan park addition, or a long term site toilet for a tradie who is tired of hire fees.

How it is built

The frame is galvanised steel, epoxy treated and acrylic painted, clad in EPS insulated sandwich panels with a wipe down interior lining. The floor is an 18 mm magnesium concrete composite topped with 2 mm timber pattern vinyl, and the roof is 3 mm epoxy painted steel insulated with glass wool, so the cabin copes with Australian sun, coastal salt air and inland frost.

Inside it reads as a finished room rather than a site amenity: a soft close pan, a pedestal hand basin with a chrome mixer, a double glazed awning window, an exhaust fan and LED lighting. It arrives pre plumbed for hot and cold with a 42 mm waste and a sewer connection through the rear wall, and pre wired with the mains cable terminated on the rear wall to Australian standards and carrying the RCM mark (the regulatory compliance mark that shows electrical gear is approved for sale in Australia).

An optional hot water service is available as a 20 L gas or 80 L electric unit.

Delivery and freight

On site your licensed plumber connects water and waste, and your licensed electrician terminates the supply. We deliver worldwide. In Australia the cabin travels by truck and goes into position with a crane truck, tilt tray or forklift onto a prepared slab, footings or screw piles (steel posts wound into the ground instead of pouring a slab).

Quote enquiry process

How an enquiry works

A quote enquiry is not an order. Nothing is committed until you have a written quote naming the scope, the price and the delivery terms.

  1. 1

    Tell us the block

Send the model, your suburb or postcode and what the block is like. Access, slope and crane room change the price more than anything else.

  2. 2

    Get a Free Quote

A written quote covering the unit, freight to your address, and what is and is not included.

  3. 3

    We start your build

We lock in your design with you and then we coordinate with our builders to begin production.

  4. 4

    Delivery and set down

We coordinate the delivery process from factory to site, ensuring your home arrives safely and is positioned at your property with everything planned ahead of time.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need council approval?

Usually yes. Once the cabin is plumbed to sewer or septic and connected to power, most councils treat it as building and plumbing work, and the rules differ between councils and states. Speak to your local council and a licensed plumber before you order. We supply drawings, dimensions and service connection details so your certifier and plumber have what they need. We cannot guarantee approval on any block.

Can it be used as a permanent amenity?

Yes. It is built as a fixed cabin rather than a hire booth, with a galvanised steel frame, EPS insulated panels and a magnesium composite floor. The warranty term is confirmed in your quote. Connect it to mains water, sewer and power and it works as a fixed toilet for a park, reserve, sports ground or rural block. If you need to move it later, the lifting lugs and forklift pockets let a crane or forklift pick it up and relocate it.

Is hot water included?

The cabin is pre plumbed for hot and cold, and the hot water service itself is an option we quote with your order. You can choose a 20 L gas unit or an 80 L electric unit depending on whether gas is available on the block. Your licensed plumber, and a licensed gas fitter for the gas option, make the final connections on site.

How is it delivered and what access do I need?

It ships by sea and then travels by road. On site it is placed by crane truck, tilt tray or forklift, so you need a clear run for the truck and room to swing or drive the cabin into position. It weighs about 304 kg. Tell us your access, gradient and any overhead wires when you request a quote so the lift can be planned properly.

What site preparation do I need?

A level, prepared base: a concrete slab, footings or screw piles depending on your soil and wind region. Bring water, sewer or septic and power to the rear wall before delivery day so the plumber and electrician can connect straight away. We supply footing and service layout drawings with the order so your trades can set out before the cabin lands.

What is included and what is quoted separately?

The cabin comes with the pan, pedestal basin and chrome mixer, exhaust fan, LED lighting, double glazed awning window, wall and floor linings, and the plumbing and electrical rough in terminated at the rear wall. The hot water service, freight, crane hire, site works and the licensed plumbing and electrical connections on site are quoted separately.

Will it suit a bushfire or cyclone area?

Tell us the BAL rating (the bushfire attack level, a rating of how much bushfire risk your block faces) and wind region for your block when you enquire. Tell us your wind region and BAL rating when you enquire and we will confirm with the factory what can be engineered for your site before you order. We review the specification and engineering with you rather than assuming a standard build will suit.

What warranty applies?

Warranty terms are set out in writing with your quote and order documents, and cover the structure and the fitted plumbing and electrical items separately. Consumables and damage caused by incorrect installation are excluded. Keep the certificates from your licensed plumber and electrician, because warranty claims on services normally depend on them.
